We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and outstanding practitioner to join our Mathematics faculty. We have a bold vision for our maths curriculum; we want our students to become outstanding problem solvers, equipped with the numeracy and reasoning skills to be successful at and beyond year 11. Our results have rapidly improved since 2019 due to a sharp focus on our curriculum and we are keen to build upon our success to be bolder and more ambitious with what our students can achieve. For the right candidate, there is the potential for a TLR as our whole school numeracy co-ordinator. Our focus on curriculum development over the last few years has seen us focus on how we can work collaborative across departments, where needed, to share the numeracy demands of the curriculum and share pedagogies that support students to transfer their mathematical learning from one subject to another; becoming increasingly confident in their application of this learning.
