Art Lesson at Vestry House Museum

As part of our ‘Collection Project’, Year 10 students visited Vestry House Museum to analyse and draw from real life art installations, as well as items collected by the museum. The pieces included a moth sculpture and several paintings and pieces of furniture.

The skills required to draw from real life objects are different from those needed to draw from pictures and so the trip to the museum was very beneficial for our GCSE studies.

All the students who went on the trip were an asset to the school in their behaviour and the way they conducted themselves throughout the trip.
