January 2026 - re parking on-site
Dear Parents / Carers
We have recently noticed that a number of parents are parking in the front car park without permission.
Please could you be aware that we cannot allow cars in the car park, except by specific arrangement with a member of the senior leadership team. We understand that when students have had accidents and are recovering, this may be necessary, but it has to be arranged with the school first.
Best wishes

January 2026 - re piercings
Dear Parent/Carer
I hope you are well. We have noticed some students coming to school with piercings that do not adhere to our Positive Behaviour for Learning Policy. We would like to ask for your support ensuring your child does not come to school with the following piercings:
-
Upper Frenulum piercings. These are piercings of the inner gum above the two front teeth.
-
Nose rings. Students are only allowed one small nose stud in their nostril.
-
More than one ear piercing. Students are permitted to wear one small stud in each ear. We are not specific about which part of the ear but they must only wear one stud.
-
Any facial piercings other than nostril e.g. eyebrow, septum, lip.
If students are wearing any of these additional piercings they will spend their lunchtime in our Duty Room. If they wear the piercing a second day they will lose their lunchtime again.
If students wear these piercings a third day they will be Internally Suspended and spend the day in our Duty Room. We will then require you to come into school for a meeting to discuss our policy.
We really appreciate your support with this.
Kind regards
