Head of Year and Learning Mentor (maternity post)

Salary Range: SO1- SO2

36 hours per week, 45.46 weeks per year

To start as soon as possible

We are looking for a proactive and highly motivated Head of Year and Learning Mentor to lead and manage a year team.   You must be passionate about supporting students and their families, working with them to create a sense of belonging and to instil our school values of Courage, Compassion, Aspiration and Integrity.  You will have practical experience of safeguarding, child protection procedures and working with outside agencies.

As Head of Year, you must be able to lead a team of form tutors with both confidence and a clear, strategic vision.  You will have a strong understanding of what inclusive pastoral care looks like and will be able to lead others in the consistent application of positive behaviour for learning strategies.

This is a temporary post to cover a period of maternity leave, to start as soon as possible until the return of the substantive postholder.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teacher of PE. This role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher.

As a member of our Performing Arts faculty, you will be delivering an innovative PE curriculum. Your outstanding classroom practice will help to inspire our students with your own love of learning.  You must be able to demonstrate creativity as well as an excellent subject knowledge in teaching a wide range of sports including Trampolining, Dance and Gymnastics.

  • Would you like the opportunity to work as part of an innovative and dedicated Languages Faculty?

We are looking to appoint an exceptional and highly motivated Deputy Head of Faculty-Head of French. This is a temporary appointment to cover a period of sabbatical leave.

As the ideal candidate you will have a passion for teaching and promoting the love of the French language and culture. Ideally you will be able to speak and teach Spanish too.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative team which achieves excellent examination results and inspires students to grow and develop their love of languages. You must be able to demonstrate creativity as well as excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to developing and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
