5 full days – 32.5 hours per week-term-time only  (8.30am-3.30pm)


Required to start in September 2022

Walthamstow School for Girls is a vibrant and successful multicultural school. Already an outstanding school we were awarded Teaching School Hub status in February 2021, so if you are looking for a challenging and rewarding role this is an exciting time to be joining the school.  

We are looking to appoint two Learning Support Assistants with experience of working with students with special educational needs. You will be working with individuals and small groups of students, under the direction of the class teacher, providing effective support to help students reach their full potential.

The successful applicants will be highly motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  You must be adaptable and organised with the ability to work flexibly across the school.

We have two posts available, one permanent post and one fixed term post until the end of the summer term 2024. Please clearly mark on your application form which post you are applying for.

It is essential that candidates are available to work five days a week from 8.30am to 3.30pm.
