Diversity Magazine Trip
Our new reporters research for their first articles
Last week some of the students involved in the creation of WSFG’s first ever diversity magazine went to Somerset House. Whilst there they engaged with Mary Sibande’s art exhibition: ‘I came apart at the seams’, which explores the power of imagination and constructive anger in shaping identities and personal narratives in a post-colonial world.
The students are now busy researching South African history and writing up articles inspired by the exhibition; their work will be published in the first magazine in February.
