March is always a memorable month in the mathematical calendar due to Pi Day falling on 14th. 

Each Year 7 Maths class has had a Pi Recitation Competition and some students baked Pi themed cakes and pies.

Congratulations to all class participants, who received a Pi badge. The top three in each class received a certificate and the winner from each class received a trophy made by Mr Trimithioti.

Pi Day is always a fantastic opportunity for the girls to exercise their brains, research and practice various memory techniques and to experience the effect of having a GROWTH Mindset. With effort and practice, anything is possible.  

On Wednesday 29th March, the eight class champions will be competing against each other to secure an overall Year 7 winner.
