WSfG College Roadshow

On Tuesday 14 October we held our annual College Roadshow, where Year 11 students, with their parents/carers, have the opportunity to talk to Colleges and Sixth Forms to help them decide on their plans for Year 12.

This year we had a record number of providers attending - 29 school Sixth Forms and Colleges from the local area and further afield. Some brought ex-WSfG students, who were able to talk about their experiences so far. One provider even brought a robot with them!

Our students found the evening really helpful, especially as it made them think about some providers they hadn't considered or even heard of previously and it gave them all the course and open evening information that they needed.

"Talking with the staff and ambassadors was very helpful and they explained the courses really well and gave a lot of information on the sheets to keep it simple"

We are using all the feedback to design an even better event for next year and hope to have even more providers attending.
