Year 11 Information 2025-26
Year 11 Parents/Carers Evening January 2026
Dear Parents and Carers,
Year 11 Face-to-Face Parents/Carers Evening – Thursday 22nd January 2026
We would like to invite you to attend our Year 11 Face-to-Face Parents/Carers Evening on Thursday 22nd January 2026. This is an important opportunity to meet with your child’s teachers and discuss their progress before they sit their GCSE Exams in the summer term.
To make the booking process simple, we will be using our online Edulink system for scheduling appointments, even though the event will take place face to face in school from 4:15pm to 6:45pm. In order to book appointments you must have the Edulink app or access Edulink via your internet browser.
Attached are instructions on how to book appointments or a short video guide is available to help you book your appointments:
Year 11 Parents’ Evening
https://vimeo.com/792254414?fl=pl&fe=vl
Booking Information:
-
Appointments can be made from Thursday 8th January at 6.00pm.
-
The booking system will close on Thursday 22nd January at 12.00pm.
-
Each teacher will have 28 x 5-minute appointment slots. If a teacher teaches multiple classes, it may not be possible for them to see every parent or carer. Whilst this may be frustrating, we must ensure we look after the wellbeing of our staff, and cannot ask teachers to make additional phone calls or appointments after the event.
If you have any questions, please email info@wsfg.waltham.sch.uk with Year 11 Parents’ Evening in the subject line.
Please note that although Y11 students are currently in their Language Bootcamp class groups, they will be directed to book with their original English Literature teachers (the teacher they had in the Autumn Term) for Parents Evening, as they are best placed to offer specific guidance to individual students for both Literature and Language revision.
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday 22nd January 2026.
Mrs. L Fearon & Miss H Akhter
