WSFG Leaver helps set new British record!

Noa, who has just left us at WSFG at the end of last term with our last Year 11 cohort, was selected to run for our school county of Essex in the English Schools Championship in Birmingham in July. She ran a Personal Best of 38.32 seconds to claim the silver medal.

The top two from each event are then selected to run for team England at the Schools International Athletics Board (SIAB) Championships in Derby.   Noa and her 4x300 U17 relay team set a British National Record that day with a brilliant time of 2 minutes and 36.54 seconds.

In August, Noa competed at the British Athletics Nationals in Birmingham, where she came second, winning another silver medal and improving her PB to 38.31, which ranks her 4th in the Under 18 category at 300m in the WORLD, which is amazing!
