Maths Feast!

On the final day of February half-term, a small group of Year 10 students had the opportunity to attend a thrilling Maths Feast. They were challenged to put their mathematics and problem-solving skills to the test. The event saw students working through a number of tasks, including solving questions with missing values on a calculator, working with nets and a mathematical relay.

Throughout the day, the students demonstrated exceptional teamwork, determination, and ingenuity. They worked tirelessly on each task, collaborating to find solutions, and showed great perseverance under pressure. Their hard work paid off, with the groups achieving impressive results!

The event was a fantastic opportunity for the students to not only apply their classroom knowledge but also to develop valuable skills in problem-solving and critical thinking. It was a great morning of maths and the students involved should be incredibly proud of how well they represented the school, highlighting their dedication and enthusiasm for mathematics.
