Year 11 Information 2026-27

It’s less than a month until the St Francis Xavier Sixth Form College Open Day on Saturday 17 October! The event is hugely popular with young people and their families, so I would be grateful if you could inform your year 11 students who are considering their sixth form options.

Over 500 people have already signed up, so we recommend booking tickets here as soon as possible, before we have to close registrations. We have sent leaflets to your school, but if you would like more, just ask and we’ll get some in the post!

The open day is an excellent opportunity to find out more about life at sixth form college. We offer nearly 50 different A level, BTEC, UAL and T level courses and all our teachers will be on hand to help visitors decide which pathway would suit them best. Our 2026 pass rate was 97%, including 55% high grades and over 94% of our UCAS applicants have progressed to university – one of the highest sixth form college progressions in the UK!

Our student ambassadors will be on hand to guide guests round the campus and answer any questions about courses and life at St Francis Xavier Sixth Form College. Visitors can also start their applications on the day.
